Our Biggest Year Yet: Baby Luigi Foundation 2025 Golf Outing

The Baby Luigi Foundation’s 2025 Golf Outing was one for the books. Hosted at The Cardinal at St. John’s in Plymouth, we were fortunate to have a beautiful day, a full course, and, most importantly, an incredible community of supporters who continue to show up year after year. Because of you, we raised over $28,000, making this our most successful outing to date.

More Than Just a Number

While we are incredibly proud of what we raised, what matters most to us is where those dollars go - and the impact they ultimately have on children and families.

In years past, we’ve been able to share very specific outcomes from your generosity. This year looks a little different, but in a way that reflects growth and opportunity.

Due to evolving leadership and priorities within C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, the way philanthropic funds are allocated (especially within nursing and patient support) has shifted. Rather than funding one specific, predefined project, donations are now being directed through a more comprehensive review process to ensure they are used where the need is greatest.

What does that mean for your support?

It means your donations are part of a larger, thoughtfully managed effort to create meaningful impact across critical care areas like the PICU, NICU, and beyond. Projects are reviewed, prioritized, and funded based on urgency and long-term benefit to patients and care teams.

While we don’t yet have a final destination for the 2025 outing funds, we see this as something positive: your generosity is being entrusted to go exactly where it’s needed most. And as always, we will share updates as soon as those decisions are finalized.

Looking Ahead: Year 5

As we reflect on 2025, we’re already looking forward to what’s next.

Our upcoming outing will mark our 5th year, which feels like a meaningful milestone for our foundation and everyone who has supported us along the way. To celebrate, we’re planning something special.

This year, we’ll be directing funds to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor - an organization that was part of our very first outing and one that continues to provide comfort, housing, and support to families navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Bringing it back for Year 5 feels like a full-circle moment - and we can’t wait to share it with you.
